[Marc @marcs_dev]

@LeoBuilds_ The question is, why should we use the desktop app? 👀

[Marc @marcs_dev]

Codex is still the best at generating logos 🙌

But Claude Code for everything else.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

It's crazy that we are not writing any line of code by ourselves, anymore 🤯 completely unbelievable, a few years back.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@DeckardBuilds You can still do it! Give Laravel a try, and I'm sure you'll never look back 👀

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@upen946 It's going to be a personal project, for the beginning. But let's see 👀

[Marc @marcs_dev]

Happy Friday!! 🙌

Guess what? I'm starting a new project this weekend 👀

What about you?

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@enunomaduro I thought exactly about the same, but didn't hit the "delete" button yet 😅

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@MrPunyapal Svelte or Vue

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@joshmanders What does that mean? 👀

[Marc @marcs_dev]

Do you guys prefer self-hosting or deploying your apps with a cloud provider?

I do both, but I think of migrating back more of my apps to cloud.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@GShip223 That’s actually a good separation

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@GShip223 That's exactly why I think about moving more stuff back to cloud.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@Ismail_Founder totally makes sense! We can spend our time on the important things.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@dev_bre @arvidkahl I have to be honest, I never used Go 😅 Would you say their feature set is comparable to Laravel?

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@dev_bre @arvidkahl In combination with Laravel it's absolutely great! Everything is included out-of-the-box.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

Namecheap is again increasing prices for domains...

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@StevBuilds phone first, because the coffee machine is further away 😂 but then, it's absolutely coffee!! ☕

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@MattiSchroder @Railway I'm also thinking of bringing some of my self-hosted stuff back to cloud. The way e.g. Laravel Cloud handled the fixes, was just amazing. Nothing to worry about, they took care of everything.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@dev_bre It's definitely not that popular, as e.g. Vercel, Render, etc... but it's working very well. The best is their "scale-to-zero" functionality, which means you are only paying for your services, if they are actually in use.

[Marc @marcs_dev]

@dev_bre haha! 😆 give it a try and you'll love it, too! ;)
