So there's a new (to me) variation on the "I'm from Microsoft Help Desk" scam, claiming to be from @Centurylink (which is my ISP). They are "changing towers" and want tell you how to connect to the new server.
I contacted @CenturyLink and they said, to contact local police.

I told them they were shirking their responsibility to their customers and should at least put an alert on their website.
I called the local police and as I suspected these scams are ongoing and you shouldn't give them any personal or financial information.
