@SiWheeler78 Looking at headlines this morning you may get your wish granted. I’m going to lodge formal complaint re the hosepipe ban over the weekend. They haven’t answered my question about hosepipe demand in winter justifying a continued ban.

@sewateruk it’s utterly nonsensical that I can’t use a hosepipe to wash my car in the middle of winter in a 1st world developed nation. Is a hosepipe ban really necessary at Christmas? It’s not like people are watering gardens or filling paddling pools is it, where is the demand?

@SiWheeler78 @sewateruk Exactly, they all suffered the same “dry summer”. They haven’t answered my question on how much additional demand hoses really place on the supply in December. It’s completely different to the summer. We can only use hoses for 6 months of the year at this rate, ridiculous.
