@Sufflad@SkyCricket 100%. Nick just after the frame from umpire view, just before the frame from side-on. Commentators could do with understanding that videos are a progressive sequence of still images and therefore helping with interpreting.
Cricket commentators need to understand how to interpolate between frames. The gap from the umpire-view camera was marginally before the edge, whereas the gap seen from side-on was marginally after the edge. Huge nick!

@HMRCcustomers hey guys I’ve just spent well over an hour queuing for assistance with a self assessment & negative earnings query - the call handler told me he needed to transfer the call and promptly disconnected me - it’s now ten minutes before the 6pm closing time.

Hi Steve
No I have not asked them, and it wasn’t an amicable split.
However I wasn’t requested to ask them by HMRC when I took advice last year, and I can see that the £8k repayment is not reflected in my 2025-26 earnings for that employment.

Steve
I’ve checked my PAYE records for 2025-26 on the app and they have NOT recognised the £8k net payment to them through payroll.
Thanks

@HMRCcustomers Yes, £8,000.
I’m not sure whether they would associate it with payroll as it was a contractual repayment liability if I left their employment within two years.
The issue arose because my new employer (same area) couldn’t apply relocation under HMRC rules as I had already moved…
@HMRCcustomers … employer.
I queried with HMRC at the time whether one company could transfer the obligation to the other, but was advised by HMRC the simplest solution was to claim the £8k repayment as negative earnings.
So I’ve waited for end of tax year and need to included that in a SA.
@HMRCcustomers Thanks for the prompt reply Steve
I was previously registered for SA several years ago but more recently PAYE.
I transferred jobs in April 2025 and was obliged to repay £8k HMRC-qualifying relocation allowances to my former employer but didn’t qualify for relocation to new …
@ZelenskyyUa@POTUS@ZelenskyyUa you are the democratically elected leader of a sovereign state that has been illegally invaded. The west supports you, as did the previous administration of the US. However this @POTUS is a showboater, and he is truly the comic president. Shameful display from him.
#Olympic closing ceremony seems to be absolutely fantastic and full of symbolism, but I’m sure I’m not alone in my frustration about the lack of context being explained by the #BBC.
The sports commentary has been spot on, whereas for the opening and closing ceremonies woeful…
@HomesenseHelp@HomesenseHelp Hi! We regularly hear your radio advert, the “of course they do candles” one, but can’t make out what’s being said. Could you clear up for us “It’s like TX Maxx but more …”? Thanks so much! :)
