Whether the answers come or not, we will never stop praying. Prayer is not a phase we outgrow; it is a lifelong walk. As long as we have breath in our lungs, we will remain on our knees, pressing deeper into God in the place of prayer!
I really love the idea of a Christian who quietly fixes their walk with God and tells no one.
They just start waking up for early morning prayer. Start opening their Bible every day. Start giving quietly and generously. Start interceding for others in secret.
No post. No story update. No "look at my spiritual growth" caption.
Just a quiet transformation that only Heaven noticed the kind Jesus talked about when He said, “Your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
That’s the true flex. Not the public testimony. The secret-place consistency.
Spiritual growth begins when you stop blaming the devil for the choices your flesh willingly makes. Not every battle is an attack from the enemy; there are times you need to crucify the flesh and choose obedience to God. Learn to take responsibility for your actions and allow the Holy Spirit to transform you from within.
The Lord says that if you are in a toxic relationship, you should leave because it's going to waste your valuable time, valuable resources, and valuable focus/effort.
Genesis 13:7-10. LEAVE!!! Shalom.
A beautiful reminder from God to you this morning. 🤍
2 Corinthians 12:9
And then he told me,
My grace is enough; it's all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness. …
His grace is enough for you, even on the days you feel weak. 🙏🏾
Fasting subdues the flesh. Whenever Christians fast, they subdue the flesh and make it uninteresting for evil spirits to feed on. Demon activity is greatly subdued by fasting.
Psalm 94:12-13 KJV
[12]Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law; [13] That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN YOU MARRY SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT FEAR GOD. 🧵👇
This is not about shaming anyone. It is about helping someone make a wise decision before entering marriage.
The fear of God is not just a personality trait; it shapes your values, convictions, decisions, and how you treat people.
When two people have different spiritual foundations, the differences can affect almost every area of their marriage.
1. FAITHFULNESS BECOMES A STRUGGLE. When God's standards are not taken seriously, the boundaries that protect marriage can easily be ignored.
2. REPENTANCE BECOMES DIFFICULT. When someone is unwilling to submit to God's correction, apologies may become a cycle without genuine change.
3. YOUR VALUES WILL CLASH. Your prayer life, convictions, and commitment to holiness may become sources of conflict instead of common ground.
4. RAISING CHILDREN BECOMES A BATTLE. You may want to raise your children in the ways of the Lord while your spouse has completely different priorities.
5. FINANCES CAN BECOME A SOURCE OF CONFLICT. Stewardship, honesty, generosity, and financial responsibility require shared values and accountability.
6. YOUR MARRIAGE COVENANT MAY NOT BE HONOURED. Sexual purity, pornography, emotional affairs, and boundaries with former partners can become serious issues when commitment and accountability are lacking.
7. YOU MAY CARRY THE SPIRITUAL RESPONSIBILITY ALONE. You will be praying, studying the Word, and seeking God's direction while your partner remains indifferent to spiritual things.
8. CONFLICTS MAY BECOME MORE DESTRUCTIVE. Pride, manipulation, dishonesty, and refusal to take responsibility can damage a marriage when there is no willingness to submit to godly correction.
9. PEACE MAY BECOME DIFFICULT TO MAINTAIN. Different spiritual foundations can create repeated disagreements over parenting, finances, values, church, and the direction of your home.
10. YOU MAY START COMPROMISING YOUR CONVICTIONS. You may gradually hide your faith, reduce your commitment to prayer, or abandon certain standards just to avoid conflict.
HERE IS THE BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE:
“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.” — 2 Corinthians 6:14 (NKJV)
Marriage is more than attraction, chemistry, and romantic feelings. It is a covenant that requires shared values, commitment, responsibility, and a common direction.
Do not marry someone merely because you hope they will change after the wedding. Pay attention to their character, their relationship with God, and the fruit of their life.
And remember, professing Christianity alone does not guarantee a godly spouse. Look for genuine faith demonstrated through character, humility, repentance, and obedience to God's Word.
Choose someone with whom you can build a godly home, raise children in the ways of the Lord, and fulfil God's purpose without constantly fighting over your faith.
Marriage is too important to approach without prayer, wisdom, and discernment.
Choose wisely. Your decision will affect more than your wedding day.
@TevinMacharia Were you the one that said the worst place after hell is bad marriage or something like that🤔 . I am believing God for a woman that will make my walk with him easy. A woman that loves the lord. Say a prayer for me.
