Today is the 60th anniversary of the discovery of the three murdered SNCC workers (2 Jews and a Black man) who died registering voters in Mississippi.

James Cheney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner were murdered for trying to build a mixed-race delegation to represent a southern state at the 1964 Democratic Convention.
