@DieHardUConn Creighton fans are optimistic, but it’s in the back of all of our minds that it could happen. Especially after this season. If Greg retired after last year, we would be feeling different. We are uncomfortable. Huss bus is a great coach though.

@OmahaIsNebraska It was the roster and recruits he assembled. He was able to establish a winning program in two years. I think the team being successful after a coach leaves speaks more about the coach in a positive sense than negative. Builds something sustainable, not reliant on the coach

@kjmac111 On the opposite side, in two years he was able to bring a program to success that lasted beyond him. I’d rather not be dependent on a coach to make the team good each year, but a coach that creates a program that is good regardless of the coach.

I mean can you imagine the team you hate the most having a coach like Greg, or someone who is just a a super nice non confrontational guy. Hurley makes the best villain. An elite coach that does stuff to make it easy to dislike. Love to hate him, and if I were UCONN I’d love him

Honestly Hurley is freaking awesome. He makes the perfect villain as an opposing coach. Hot headed, yells, so easy to dislike. But yet if he was my coach I’d absolute love him. As much as we hate UConn and Hurley, he is what makes the rivalry. Great coach that is fun to hate.
