Ultra Heavy: Book 1: Edge of Empire https://t.co/Jg5jE0XI8G #Amazon via @Amazon
Tim Kirby’s “Ultra Heavy” transports readers to the empire of Holy Rus in the distant future of 3900 AD, which by then has expanded throughout the solar system, creating new colonies by terraforming worlds. Quoting from the book “…. dividing line between human civilizations no longer remained religious, ideological, or purely geopolitical. It instead became the question of how each given civilization would approach the next phase of human evolution.”
The story’s protagonist, Ultra Heavy 148, is an example of cybernetic humanism; reaching the end of his life after three centuries serving the empire. The Tsar, who himself has been around for a millennium, grants his wish for a last mission – go to Saturn’s moon Titan and find out why the colonizers sent there went incommunicado.
Short book, fast paced plot, action packed, gripping story, macho-rough-raunchy- definitely for adults, with humor, really enjoyed. Since this was called Book 1: Edge of Empire, I’m eagerly awaiting the next installment, wondering where the author will take us. Will it continue the Titan story or take us to another part of the empire?
Really enjoyed, highly recommend.
Should We End Welfare Cold Turkey? Solid Ground #173 with Dr. Erik Lidström https://t.co/HJQfEmnQcr via @YouTube
Wow! ❤️fr @JLeslieElliott w @erik_lidstrom - very provocative discussion about whether state welfare accomplished more harm than good. Providing housing for addicts or otherwise ill people, a disaster. Maybe better off when state institutions were prevalent BUT dangerous today when the state could deem you mentally ill for DEI infractions.

Considering how much Canadians are struggling with increased grocery coss, this article fr Agri-Foods Analytics Lab SS is shocking.
Quote: ".....a Chinese-owned company has become one of the most significant processors in a highly protected segment of Canada’s dairy industry, using supply-managed milk while pursuing export markets abroad."
Newly released government records related to the Chinese-owned dairy plant in Kingston, Ontario, raise important questions that have so far attracted remarkably little public attention.

You'll forgive the consumer for not believing that it is healthy, non cancerous and safe. There are many examples of industry not telling the truth. I hope this fails and in this case, I am glad our safety regulators are SLOW.
Unlike Trump, RFK Jr, is holding true to his commitments and his principles.
While some voters prefer the facade of the right, while others favor the duplicity of the left: honesty is the only political philosophy worthy of support.

This is the political class in one headline:
Run the country into debt for over a decade, blow money on every boutique ideology, consultant racket, subsidy scheme, failed program, foreign cheque, and bureaucratic empire, then suddenly discover “fiscal responsibility” when it is time to cut seniors.
No. Start with Ottawa’s waste machine.
Cut MP salaries. Cut the consultants. Cut the corporate welfare. Cut the bloated bureaucracy. Cut the ideological departments. Cut the vanity climate spending. Cut the foreign virtue-signalling cheques. Cut the CBC. Cut MSM subsidies. Cut the programs that do nothing except employ people who write reports about programs.
But elderly benefits?
That is always where the technocrat brain goes first. Not because it is smart. Because seniors are easier to guilt than bureaucracies are to fire.
Canada does not have a “seniors are too expensive” problem.
Canada has a government-is-too-bloated problem.
The same crowd that told us endless borrowing was compassion now wants Grandma to pay the invoice. That is not courage. That is cowardice dressed up as accounting.

Either way, my sympathies, those of us who ever spent years in suburban Canada have seen this type.
🇦🇷 Peter Thiel has temporarily relocated his family to Argentina, purchased a $12 million mansion in one of Buenos Aires’ most exclusive neighborhoods, and enrolled his children in local schools.
🇺🇸 When a state like California starts introducing a wealth tax, it is not because politicians are socialist or stupid.
It’s because they want to drive out the wealthy on purpose and reduce the tax base, deliberately asset-stripping the state for private institutional ownership that can use the tax code to secure exemptions and advantages.
It’s not because politicians are stupid.
It’s not because they are radical left-wing communists.
That’s the narrative that keeps you locked into the belief that the left has the back of the poor, while the right gets to point at the left when the state goes to shit.
It’s because the state is being acquired by the financial-industrial complex, and the resulting civil unrest serves the private prison sector of the military-industrial complex.
At the same time, they install a police and surveillance system that benefits the technological-industrial complex powered by Palantir.
The same one Peter Thiel works for.
It’s a business model.
Anywhere you see a wealth tax, it’s an end-game asset-stripping exercise that gives more power to the wealthy, not less.
They are not coming after billionaires.
They are transferring wealth to billionaires.
By design.
ALL POLITICIANS WORK FOR THEIR CORPORATE LOBBIES.
Stop believing in left-versus-right politics.
It’s a distraction from the reality that you vote with your money.
