@OutbackScribe@femqu3@AntonyGreenElec That does not mean “steal” yes he did nothing more than all parties do during a campaign. He was the first to work towards appealing to others apart from Labour traditional base.
@OutbackScribe@femqu3 You are not referring to SA then, it’s only been 190 years since Europeans settled, many settlers pre WW1 moved regularly between WA & SA. We have a shared history & families with relatives in both States. I can guarantee the many I’ve researched were not intermarriages.
@OutbackScribe@femqu3@AntonyGreenElec I’m sure with certainty not only because I can check this but I was there at that time the working class did not vote for McMahon? Nor did they vote for Malcolm Fraser.
@OutbackScribe@femqu3@AntonyGreenElec So exactly who to you believe the Working Class was voting for before Whitlam? I’m very sure the recognises working class were voting for Labour prior to Whitlam heavily supported by Trade Unions? How could Whitlam then steal votes?
@grAntlerMensch@Nichttweeterin Someone doing that survey didn’t bother to check Aus or NZ, almost all kids I’ve known Down Under can swim ,climb trees and scare the hell out of parents riding bikes & even horses with city kids starting skate boards well before starting school! My 3 all walked before one too
