BBC investigation reveals that Rachel Reeves was accused while at HBOS of using company expenses to buy handbags, perfume, earrings and wine for colleagues and having a “very cavalier attitude regarding the budget” before she became an MP. According to the report, a six-page whistleblower complaint accused her and two other senior managers at HBOS of using expenses to “fund a lifestyle” of dinners, events, taxis and gifts, with all three regularly giving each other ‘presents’.

Was supposed to be staying in a London hotel this evening as I'm on the radio tomorrow morning. LBC booked and paid for it via @Bookingcom on Thursday. Hotel had no record of reservation. Hotel full. Say they often have this with @Bookingcom. Their customer service didn't want to know either. Couldn't find another hotel as all seem to be full so have driven home and will now have to drive in to LBC tomorrow as trains are up the spout due to engineering works. Some will say this #firstworldproblems. No. It's down to a company that couldn't give a shit about its customers. I'll never book with them again and I hope you won't either.
