We love that @GPlama and Dr SLane loved the Hiro Chuck so much. The reaction here is exactly like our ProTour mechanics! Thanks GPLama! https://t.co/bi8ZMseT3R

"It’s the most secure saddle bag I’ve ever used, held in place by a BOA dial that keeps things compact and rattle free." Thanks for the kind words @iaintreloar and @cyclingtips for the including us in your 10 Products I Loved in 2019!
Did you know: air loss through a tube is due more to solubility of gas into the rubber than the traditional 'escaping' through voids in the rubber we've all been told. In acuality, the gas it dissolves into the rubber, then evaporates out of the other side..
Huge congratulations to longtime friend, Marginal Gains fan and proud owner of multiple custom Ultimate floor pumps Jan Frodeno, Ironman World Champion 2019!! What an epic day! 📷@talbotcox

AND since 10% underinflated tire wears ~6% faster and 20% under inflated wears 25% faster, this equates to an additional 12-15 million tires per year required to replace prematurely worn tires (3/3)
Extrapolated to the European fleet, this means we are burning an ADDITIONAL 2.2 BILLION gallons of gasoline to overcome the added rolling resistance (just in Europe!) (2/3)
20,000 random vehicle study by Bridgestone Europe found 93% of cars had at least 1 underinflated tire, 54% had tire underinflated by more than 10% and 39% had at least 1 tire underinflated by more than 20% (1/3)

@The_Halpin To allow the system to cool. Also be sure you are running sufficient rim tape. I run 2 wraps of SILCA tubeless tape with my latex and might increase that to 3 or 4 wraps for the high mountains. In lab testing to failure, each wrap of tape adds about 10 seconds to failure time
@The_Halpin Latex can only handle about 240F in terms of heat compared to 340F for butyl. Lighter rims can exacerbate the problem by getting hotter under same braking input. Be sure to modulate braking and DO NOT DRAG. Braking is better done in on/off fashion (1/2)
@justridingalong@SANTINI_SMS@LeTour Thanks @justridingalong this is a great example of really functional fast tech. Josh worked with Castelli on some of the first aero clothing nearly 20 years ago and worked to convince Bora to move to suits like this even for stage racing for the efficiency gains.
