One of my favorite Stanley Druckenmiller quotes.
“People always forget that 50% of a stock’s move is the overall market, 30% is the industry, and maybe 20% from stock picking.”
“We want the outcome, but we need the journey.
...
Falling in love with outcomes doesn’t move you forward. Falling in love with the process does.”

Here’s a message the media doesn’t want you to hear from the @GOP:
To black Americans: the media has tried to convince you for decades that Republicans don’t care about your communities. We want for you what we want for every American: safe neighborhoods, clean streets, good jobs, a better life for your children, and a justice system that treats everyone equally – regardless of your skin color or your political beliefs.
To every legal immigrant: you’re like my parents. You deserve the opportunity to secure a better life for your children in America.
To Gen Z: you’re going to be the generation that actually saves our country. You want to be a rebel? Try calling yourself a conservative. Say you want to get married, have kids, and teach them to pledge allegiance to your country.
Except wealth management, I have never seen any other industry: which encourages customers to be ignorant.
1) Hand over your wealth to 'experts'
2) 85% can't beat benchmark
3) They make return/not make returns, they still make money
And go around telling everyone: why you should NOT manage your wealth.
If America was a stock and this was an earnings call our share price would be down 40% after hours and Third Point would be publishing an Activist letter
"When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the 101st blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before."

Someone asked me how I felt when I shared my latest video showing some black teens brutally assaulting a white girl who was minding her own business. You see, we often hide behind skin color, the party, or the group, avoiding doing or saying the right thing. We say things like black, white, or brown people are the worst. We say we are the best, our people are the best, and our own party, group, or tribe is the best; we even say we were brought up better than the white people who caused World War 1 and 2, leaving millions dead and a devastated world.
While that sounds pleasurable, the reality is that all human beings, of all races and tribes, are naturally capable of unleashing unbelievable violence. In Ukraine and Russia, whites are massacring whites, using bombs and deadly weapons. In Ethiopia, for two years, blacks were killing blacks, and hundreds of thousands died during the war between the TPLF and the federal government forces.
Some people asked, "Who raised these animals and these monkeys?" Some may also ask, "Who raised Hitler and Stalin, both white, who gassed, bombed, and killed millions? Or the whites who traveled to Africa to capture and brutalize humans for centuries? Who were those animals and monkeys?"
The reality is that even in Africa, before the white people arrived, many black kings and queens owned slaves, killed many of their own people, and helped sell them into slavery. In countries where everyone is black, where race is not a significant issue, I saw people turning to their tribes, blaming another tribe, and praising their own.
But to answer the question, how did I feel? Well, I do not send anyone to kill, assault, attack, or defame anyone. But if you do, and I find out, you may likely end up on my page, whether white, black, or brown; it doesn't matter.
Today's video was about black teens assaulting a white girl; the other day, it was a group of white folks attacking a black captain. Every year, we see countless examples of people of all races harming innocent people in a mall, school, club, or public place. It's all horrible and should be condemned.
And as we condemn those who attack others, we should also condemn the 1 percent who hoard resources, letting millions die, regardless of being black, white, or brown. The ones who profit from a vaccine that might not work, shut down a country, causing more deaths, and those who send others to profit-driven wars while they live comfortably in Friendship Heights in Washington DC.
The bottom line is this: as a rational human, I've overcome any superiority bias. It's all false. We aren't the innocent individuals we believe we are.
Ultimately, there's no such thing as white people, black people, or brown people. In the end, we are alone in the world; while some people might resemble us, we aren't responsible for their actions, failures, or successes. When our time comes, we're buried alone, six feet below the ground. Think about that!
