Scary thought that PWD/disabled people should have their disability costs covered.
That would set them up for success and we can’t have that now can we?
See how stupid that reality sounds?

From someone I follow in Norway on. This is what we’ve been harping about for Canada. Join us to fight for a publicly funded national disability insurance model of support for all those with lifelong disabilities, from birth to end of life. It’s very possible. @lesliechurch
The desperation is real, the facts are unavoidable. Canada will lose thousands of disabled people due to insufficient disability support to the point where assisted killing is all that’s left-their best way out of a legislative poverty.
We could fix that through #NDIP
Disabled? Family of a disabled person? Happy with the disability support you receive?
You need to get behind a National Disability Insurance Program. Where support would be based on actual need.
Use the #NDIP hashtag in your posts, follow us here and other places too.
This writing needs to get the attention of news outlets and documentaries everywhere. @CDNAffairs@TheTyee@CBC@CTmagazine Use your reach to do good. And you’re right Mitch to point out all levels of government are responsible. All elected officials need to step up.
@NDIP
Aid before MAID! When disabled people don't receive adequate support to live, it's coercing them to die by MAID. A National Disability Insurance Program #NDIP would provide that support. There's no excuse.

Not even close. Even if disabled Canadians received poverty level support, they would still be poor due to the added costs of having a disability. That's why we need a National Disability Insurance Plan #NDIP
You are one of the most respected people in our books when it comes to advocating for disabled people. We need to see however that unless we get rid of the cost of disability first, the disabled person will still be poor. A National Disability Insurance Plan #NDIP would do that.
Thanks Margo.
Equality gives everyone the same while equity would provide support based on individual need. One plan, one voice; WE DEMAND A NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE PLAN !!!! #NDIP

@AShoutAbout@MarkJCarney This should’ve always been the case. A portable disability income would let people move anywhere in Canada w/o losing support. Will their medical related benefits follow them as those are still provincial? One reason why we should support @EveryCdnCounts https://t.co/H3iIZ8Wbww
WE DEMAND A NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE PLAN !!!!!
It's the only way to ensure no one is left behind. Let us help you with the (disability) portfolio. Let's remove the brackets.
