Dear Ma and Pa MAGA,

You keep saying Donald Trump is “America First.”
And I want to know why.

Because in this America, the one here on planet Earth, everything’s on fire except his damn ego.

Groceries are up 0.6 percent this month.
Up 2.7 percent since last year.
Meat, poultry, fish, and eggs are up 5.6 percent.
Beef is up almost 14 percent and now at it’s highest price in American history.
Ground beef is $6.63 a pound, up 13 percent.
Chicken is $2.08 a pound, up 4 percent.
Fresh vegetables are up 3 percent.
Even restaurants raised prices almost 4 percent.

Families are swapping ribeyes for ramen, doing math in the checkout line, and hoping the bank account holds out longer than the groceries do.

Inflation is up. GDP is down.
Unemployment is the highest it’s been in four years.
Small businesses are bleeding out.
Farmers are broke.
Infrastructure is frozen.

The government is literally shut down.

But Trump’s 200 million dollar ballroom at the White House is still getting built.
Apparently “America First” means chandeliers before soldiers and gold toilets before groceries.

While you are deciding whether to buy chicken or gas, Mr. “America First” is out in the Middle East calling himself a “peacemaker.”

And he just approved a 20 billion dollar bailout for Argentina.

Not for you.
Not for the farmers he conned.
For his hedge fund billionaire friends, so they don’t lose money on bad bets.

He just said it out loud.
“Well, bailing out Argentina doesn’t help our country very much.”
Umm, you think?

Then why the hell did he do it?
Because it helps him.
Because everything he does is for himself, not this country.

He is using your money to make his donors richer while Americans are clipping coupons like it’s a second job.

That’s not patriotism.
That’s bullshit in a red hat.

Chicken is up. Bread is up. Gas, rent, insurance, all up.
Your paycheck is flat.
Your savings are gone.
Your country is running on fumes.

But sure, tell me again how this is “America First.”
Because all I see is Donald Trump First.
Gold ceilings before school lunches.
Foreign bailouts before family dinners.
His name in gold before your grocery list in red.

He doesn’t care about your bills, your job, or your kids.
He cares about his brand, his bank account, and the next foreign check that clears.

He isn’t America First.
He is Donald Trump First.
Always has been.
Always will be.

And America?
We are the ones footing the bill, so he can bail out billionaires and build a ballroom.

Because it’s Donald Trump First.
America Last.

When he bungled a pandemic, asked about injecting disinfectants, and golfed while thousands of Americans were dying a day, they moved the line.

When he refused to accept the results of the election, plotted a coup, and incited an attack against our Capitol, they moved the line.

When his gilded golf motel was searched by the FBI because he had our national security secrets in his f’ng bathroom, they moved the line.

When he was indicted the first time, they moved the line. Then they moved it again for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th times.

When he was found liable of sexual abuse—which the judge said could be referred to as rape—they moved the line. Then they moved it again when he was found liable of business fraud.

When a jury of his peers reached unanimous agreement that he was guilty on 34 felony counts, they moved the line.

When he pardoned every single perpetrator of the deadly attack on our Capitol—on THEM—they moved the line.

When he deployed OUR Marines on OUR soil against OUR citizens, they moved the line.

When he rolled out a literal red carpet on our soil for a murderous despotic adversary who would like nothing more than to see our democracy burn, they moved the line.

When we learned his own attorney general said his name was in the Epstein files—the very files he once campaigned on releasing but now keeps hidden—they moved the line.

When he sent his criminal defense lawyer to cut an immunity deal with a convicted child sex trafficker, they moved the line.

When he relocated that same sex offender to a bougie club-fed, despite a 20-year sentence that should have kept her locked down, they moved the line.

And now that a smutty birthday doodle and a jumbo check for the purchase of a HUMAN BEING—both with his signature—have been subpoenaed by Congress and handed over by the Epstein estate, what are they doing?

They’re moving the goddamn line.

There isn’t a thing he could ever do that they won’t accommodate. Nothing. He could set fire to the Declaration of Independence while Boerberting Putin and shouting “Death to America” on TikTok Live, and they’d pretzel themselves into whatever shape was needed to insist it wasn’t crossing a line.
