P4 have been learning about Roman inventions! We have been learning about what aqueducts are, what the Romans used them for, and how they were made. We built our own aqueduct models in preparation for our trip to The Water of Leith aqueduct!

This week primary 5 went to Saughton Park with the Green Team and completed outdoor learning🌳
our learning linked with our topic ’space’. We made planets out of natural materials and aliens out of clay. Take a look at our creations👽

First Minister @JohnSwinney visited St Augustine’s RC High School in Edinburgh to mark the early delivery of this commitment.
P5 have continued their @JohnMuirTrust adventures by going river dipping with the @GreenTeamEdin 🌊. P5 worked together by the River of Leith to see what living things they could find. We also made bird feeders to hang in our school grounds 🐦.

P3 had a wonderful nature walk with the Green Team on Thursday! In Saughton Park we searched for different plants and mini beasts… we found a leopard slug under a cherry tree! #article28#GreenTeamEdin
P5 have continued @JohnMuirTrust this week with @GreenTeamEdin 🍃! We walked part of the John Muir Walk, whilst finding objects for our poetry stimulus: ‘LOST Words’. We also collected our own natural objects for our nature cards 🌷 🍁!

P2 really enjoyed #BookWeekScotland this week.📚 Margon from the @GreenTeamEdin told a fantastic story to the class, then from the story they all got to make their own bird feeders! They were also gifted book bags from @Bookbug_SBT which they loved! #Article28
