Voices: The Taliban are dragging women off Herat’s streets in vans. Silence is now a choice the world is making - The Independent https://t.co/usLEPK9TBs
This is the second lecture in the series I had planned discussing the themes of my new book, Sex, Gender Identity and the Law (CUP 2026).

Read that again:
"the Scottish Government has spent a total of £1,136,973.04 in failed attempts to remove women's rights from law"
and that figure is only going up.
We were honoured to arrange yesterday's event for Sandie Peggie.
Sandie gave a very touching speech prior to her Solicitor, Margaret Gribbon, announcing that her tribunal judgement will be appealed.
As always, we are struck by Sandie's courage & bravery.
No woman should have her life turned upside down in this way simply because her employer feels it's reasonable, or lawful, for her to be forced to undress in front of her male colleagues in a woman-only changing room.

In a week you have raised over £125K to help #WASPI women hold the govt to account and establish facts not fiction about what women knew about pension increases. Thank you! Please share our appeal far and wide and donate if you can.
