This is so fascinating to me. Anyone who speaks Egyptian ‘Arabic’ knows that its grammar/syntax is completely different from classical Arabic. There’s research to show its roots are in the spoken ancient Egyptian language of the Hieroglyphics. I love that it hasn’t been lost ❤️
