The number of #txlege House Republicans against @GregAbbott_TX vouchers has increased since regular session. 30 now.
As one put it, “I told the Governor I’m a hard NO on vouchers. Don’t call me anymore.”
And another, “He’s all stick and no carrot.”
No vouchers in Texas. Ever.
Gov @GregAbbott_TX has less support for vouchers now than in regular session.
That’s why he’s pushing them so hard— and why he hasn’t called a special session.
The more he sells, the less Texans buy.
He. Doesn’t. Have. The. Votes.
Keep working, y’all!!!

Vouchers divert scarce public funds from public schools to private schools and vendors. TX is already $4,000 behind the national average in per-pupil spending. Tell your legislator to PAY TEACHERS, NOT PRIVATE SCHOOLS: https://t.co/KiFdnQL6tf
