I also grapple w/the reality of folks bringing new lives into this "post-pandemic BS" world while COVID-19 REMAINS in our fight. To each their own & there's more to life. I wrestle w/the responsibility of keeping a child safe vs the literal world waiting to slowly destroy them.

I won't put this entirely in 267 area code spaces but I can’t be unconvinced COVID-19 contributed to the French Toast Bites lady's death. It may well contribute to most of ours no matter how we may have protected ourselves or not enough. It is heartbreaking.

Key word is "contribute". COVID-19 will always be an underlying condition that gets overlooked by the usual (and not usual) causes of death and illnesses due to humans making dangerous assumptions due to age and other factors, as long as we are in this world at this very time.

Everyone is talking today but for most people, folks are content with the slow dismantling and crumbling of this country. If they aren't, they are too tired to actually do anything beyond getting loud online.

Can't honestly remember when I have looked at the timeline here. I just go to my few normal COVID-aware but influential regular BW favs and some #CovidIsNotOver folks who continuously debunk and eviscerate "post-COVID" lies in this world while also offering up hope in survival.
