@nytimes Audits are critical to ensure compliance to ACCEPTED standards are followed, systemic issues addressed &corrected by the auditee internally & those tools in working order -recording discrepancies,verification of corrections etc. The Standard MUST be established 1st& transparent

AI can be even worse.Although source is usually cited, developer may promote subjective content to draw responses from,while implying validity of content, verification by those it was providing it(using standardized statistically valid methods) Most dont.

Audit/records of POS/traceability to individuals are public record.Not accusations. Didnt need excessive digging, because audits started raising red flags. Those opposed to audits are either violating the requirement or benefit from them
