Itβs hard not to feel incensed when there are so many people posting about Sinead and how fearless she was, people who would never in a million years align themselves with with anybody who stood for something or had anything remotely controversial to say. Itβs so spineless. If you canβt stand up for people in life donβt do it in death.
I keep being asked what I make of the UFO thing in Congress yesterday, so here it is: I watched a few clips and saw some people who seemed to believe stuff saying extraordinary things without presenting extraordinary evidence. Therefore I have nothing more to say, other than: It would be great if true - it would take a bit of the pressure off our civilisation if we werenβt the only means within the Milky Way by which the Universe understands itself. Sadly, as of today, I still feel that pressure, so can we perhaps focus on not messing our world up rather than hoping that, to paraphrase Sagan, someone will float down to save us from ourselves.
@haven It would be the Berwick upon tweed, Myself and my mum took my dad here for his final holiday after being told his long battle with cancer had become terminal, we spent a really lovely 5 days together here before he passed days later - would love to return with my mum someday π
I really wish people would stop drastically using the scenarios of rape or incest as the sole premise for an abortion. A woman doesnβt have to be in a traumatic situation for it to be reason enough. In fact there is zero explanation that needs to be given.
