Dua Lipa was questioned in an interview about the challenges she faced with her parents over her relationship with Callum Turner, especially given how different the two of them are.

🎙️Interviewer: What were the challenges you had with your parents about you and Callum, being that you are quite different from him?

🗣️Dua: My parents used to take me to every party,all night, every night. That was just how we lived. So when they met Callum and invited him along, he would just sit there quietly, never really joining in. My mum looked at me one night and joked, “You like partying… he doesn’t. Are you sure you’re a good match?”
I still laugh about that.

Meanwhile when we met in Los Angeles we both realised we were reading the exact same book, Trust by Hernán díaz , and had just finished the first chapter. Callum looked at me and said, “So we’re on the same page.”
That was it. The girl who grew up dancing until dawn fell for the man who would rather stay in and finish a chapter with her. And somehow… that difference became the safest place I’ve ever known.
