So it continues - the pole was restored but the contractor could only restore one phone line because that is all they are contracted to do. They could see the other phone lines physically broken but there job was to fix one only !

This phone line has been down a week and after phoning every second day I have only got @eir to admit today that they won’t be fixing it for at least another week and No they won’t provide a mobile broadband solution to allow me to work from home.
