It was, for me, but with one sentence I knew all options were there without judgement - have thought about that a lot

6 yrs ago today the drunken killer of all my children and my dad, the drunk who seriously harmed my grandma & mom, began his reduced 9 Yr and 4 month sentence.
He was released on FULL parole Feb 9, 2021.
My multiple life sentences will never end.

My Dad rarely spoke about residential school. However, one thing that stuck with me was his account of how the older boys would position themselves closer to the door in the dorms so the younger boys wouldn’t be chosen when the priests came to get them at night. #215children
