@mwreads A6: Like @Jstomp47, I won't be doing much. My fall class starts the 30th. And I'll have a temp job starting around then, too. But I will keep reading The Library Book by Susan Orlean. It is so interesting and about how amazing libraries are!! #ublis535
@Jstomp47 @mwreads I was also so happy to not have papers. I prefer project-based learning. And I went straight to this course after finishing my 40-page undergrad English thesis (I graduated in May), so I was happy to not have to write for a while after that!!!
@mwreads A5: It was a great semester! I will be taking away the importance of committing to creating new and exciting activities for your students. I loved the Book Talks and Escape Rooms! #ublis535
@mwreads A4: I think it's important to ask for feedback often/to get teens' perspectives on things. It shows you care about their opinion and show them that they have autonomy over their learning. #ublis535
@mwreads#ublis535 I'd actually never heard of novels in verse before, and I really enjoyed reading @JasonReynolds83's The Long Way Down and listening to @kwamealexander's Swing. This semester, I also got into audiobooks more than I ever had before.
@WWarriorLibrary@mwreads I read The Selection this semester too and loved it! Years ago, my sister was reading them on vacation and begged to use my gift card to buy the next eBook in the series. I didn’t understand why she was so desperate to get to next one till I read them!
