Love today's topic! Our students are jr&sr & man are they done! Sr don't need the motivation the Jr do. But if the Jr want to go on Early placement on it next yr they have to finish this yr strong. So that's usually a good motivation tactic #sunchat #barbersclass @barbersclass

@susankotch You mentioned special teachers; one of my classes is credit recovery, I'm new to it & it's difficult to keep the Jr's motivated they figure they can do it next yr. It never fails that any early dismissal from home schools come during that class🤦‍♀️

@susankotch With our students they have things like early placement where they can leave for work, they have to get credits done so they can graduate. So the ones that want/need those things are usually motivated when you remind them what's on the line

Children w/LD or Mild to moderate retardation absolutely need the goals laid out for them daily. Either a list on the board or in their folder or both. I think everyone benefits from it too

Yes! Of course the description of the course should be laid out at all levels! I wouldn't want to sit in a room each day with no indication in advance of what we'll cover. What if it includes dissection? I'd want to know that ahead of time! #sunchat
