i think one of the most romantic things a man can do is take fatherhood seriously. to understand that our children are not just something we have together, but people he has a responsibility to know, love, guide and protect. i’d love to build a family with someone who understands that.

There must be something so beautiful about looking at your child and recognising little pieces of the two people who created them. Your eyes in their eyes, their smile on their face, and somehow the person you love most reflected back at you in the smallest human you’ve ever held.
