@glassgirldreams I’m in total agreement. My psychiatrist and surgeons only used sex affirmation surgery/care (corresponding terms in Swedish) back in the days. Me and the psychiatrist had some interesting linguistic and philosophical discussions

@HannahOfTheWest @alysssa_belle I transitioned too late. My PhD and about a 1/3 of my publications are in the ’wrong’ name. I do wish I had transitioned during my undergrad even though I had the best possible support from colleagues and the department where I worked during my transition.
