not my centre saying we have to do ‘up to 2 and a half hour assessments on the full spec’ might aswell just say normal exams just 2 months early at this point 🙂
Another example of how private candidates are discriminated against. How are we supposed to feel confident in receiving grades when this is what we face? And who is going to answer for this? Since no one cares not even @CommonsEd.
@PearsonEdexcel @JCQcic@ofqual
@homeschoolingm7 @PearsonEdexcel @ocrexams@AQA@CambridgeInt do you think it’s worth it waiting for the list they’re releasing at the end of this month?
tbh if it’s true they’re giving us the mark schemes for the mini exams I’m not complaining. Grade inflation would happen this year no matter what. Students have had a very tough year and this makes it fairer for private candidates who are at a disadvantage.
my old school said if exams got cancelled they wouldn’t be able to help me a few months ago, do you think there’s any point in asking again since the gov has given more info for private candidates now? I can’t afford a centre :/
How are we supposed to do well in full on mocks in less than a month. We’re actually paying £1000’s and working hard revising for what feels like no reason at this point. #privatecandidates#resitstudents
@JCQcic@educationgovuk@ofqual@AQA@OCRCustSupport@eduqas @Pearson_UK @TheExamsOffice This is ridiculously unfair. So private candidates who’ve been studying independently are doomed to take MULTIPLE sets of “mocks” that are invigilated... essentially exams. Allow us to give non-exam evidence. Make centres issue weekly homework’s. So many options you’re ignoring
Private candidates: check to see if you’re eligible for this and if you are make sure to check if your centre is following these guidelines before paying!

if mocks are actually at the end of this month Idk what I’m going to :/ I’m so unprepared and it’s so difficult to revise without anything being confirmed.
