@MetCastPod When will everyone understand that Pete didnβt want to stay β¦ the Mets could have gave him a bigger contract than Soto, he would have walked away. He opted out as fast as he could with no looking back.
@JonHeyman Really? Iβm a Mets who has seen hundred of games in Philadelphia, wearing my Mets gear all around Philly and the surrounding areas and never a word β¦. I do know a word might be said if I sit in the nose bleed section. Believe it or not there are classy Philly fans.
@CalmYourMitts Yes β¦ let us grieve first. Tell the press you will have an answer for them mid week. Itβs like learning your mother just died and your husband tells you he is leaving you ten minutes later. Yes, we knew it was coming but that wasnβt on our minds 15 minutes after the game.
@spidadmitchell The players belief in themselves and their team mates took them to the NLCS in 2024. It was a players only meeting that inspired this team, it was not a Mendoza inspired team.
@SusanneGia@wakeupnj Pitman is a conservative church town, our mayor is Republican β¦ itβs starting to lean but I have lived here all my life and I donβt recognize one face which tells me, these are not Pitmanites
@CalmYourMitts Every game counts yet there are more games to be played at the beginning of the season than the end. β¦ Donβt worry the Mets still can go 160-2 β¦ Ya Gotta Believe
@SNYtv Yes, they could have won more games yet still the other teams would have complained Atl & the Mets need to play 162 games. In reality MLB screwed this up by not planning ahead for Hurricane Helene.
@CPat11 There are players who were arrested and still able to play β¦. Bauer, never charged, never arrested but was a victim of extortion yet he received the longest suspension in MLB history
