@CornfedCrypto@MatrixMysteries But not free if you can’t be at work and there’s no paid maternity leave it’s actually a huge cost to stay at home with children.
@DrewDodsonNFL@deborahbrian @Saramac7 And if your problem took longer to sort out than the allotted time? Would you like the doctor to stop the consultation without finishing it so they’re running on time? No one wants to overrun - the GP however want to treat the patients not the timer
@Bozenka_2023 @liammb1984 No - it is not traumatising when someone who knows what they’re doing does it - it’s not ineffective either - it’s probably one of the few times you immediately improve someone’s life- they come in with reduced hearing - and you restore it in minutes
@Yozz38887229@LucyGoBag There certainly used to be this system- patients were asked if they’d be prepared to take a cancellation slot - that seems to fallen by the wayside in recent years
@lalilulelo_61 @Dr_BellaR There were no tuition fees until Blair’s government brought them in. Most students had grants too- their “job” was to be a student. One of my mates at med school managed to save some of her grant!
@DJ3370178658@ChloeERodger Oh yes - I agree totally bonkers. Never mind that with increased experience make for excellent trainees who are mature and learn more quickly. In no other profession would this be a thing
Healthcare Assistants do amazing things across the NHS every single day but rarely get the credit they deserve.
Please spare a repost to say a quick thank you to all of them.
@AnneWya88761901@wj63w@JamieFonzarelli Tractors are needed for working the Land- you know pulling ploughs, trailers etc. it’s like saying factory machinery is expensive- uh - yes it’s needed to do a job and needs to be reliable. It’s not a fashion item
@Angelcalling5@LindaMESims Yes most people do - are they however working 365 days a year? . For my parents there were no family holidays and for my mother no maternity leave - in all weathers - and really dependent on the weather- a bad spring/summer/ disease etc can ruin them
@SueSuezep Surely we should have something like - inheritance tax paid - if you sell the farm within a certain period of inheriting it (say 10-15 years- )? If you farm it (all that time you’re in it for the long haul and benefit food production) and keep it in the family - then no tax
