@serentrippety Nope, happened to me, covid positive mid Dec, close contact last week and was advised to restrict movements & sent antigen tests in the post . A certain proportion of people will still test positive on PCR due to viral shedding

@gavreilly I think it’s helpful to compare cases per 100,000 in the vaccinated and unvaccinated to clearly present the higher incidence rate in the unvaccinated population as the percentage of patients does not seem to be resonating with some people

@shanejunkin @gavreilly @daveirl Yeah it looks as though it will be slower than anticipated using the MRNAs. Don’t get me wrong it’s a balance, the difficulty is who knows what variants are yet to come. I believe the decision is right but time is critical & everything needs to be done to accelerate the roll out!
