@dave_mcpartlin We had ours last week of term - it was fine, inspectors were good people. The stress isn’t just about the days they’re in, it’s the ‘window’ the worry you haven’t done it their way or have missed something and the impact this will have. Training on checking in won’t help this.

@Headteacherchat Also have as many of your key leaders as possible in the room when you’re in that 2 hour call, I think the call sets the scene and the tone for the inspection.

@Headteacherchat Our experience was a positive one (intense, rigorous & robust still). My top tip is if you’re expecting the call, have a file ready with the essentials that you want to share. I have a summary SIP and SEF and do think the full versions of either were read.
