Hier was zeker één iemand slachtoffer.
Nederland investeert een half miljard euro in drones en raketsystemen voor Oekraïne. We spreken met de Oekraïense minister Mykhailo Fedorov over het belang van deze technologische steun in de strijd tegen Rusland.
@joni_askola The only thing stopping Trump from exhausting the US in his unwinnable war against Iran is the fact that, unlike Putin, Trump still faces elections he doesn’t completely control…yet. The GOP must be defeated by wide margins in November, to prevent the US from becoming Russia./2x
@joni_askola This is what happens when a nation is controlled by a malignant narcissist—which Putin, Trump and Netanyahu all are. They are incapable of listening to opposing viewpoints, or admitting failure. /1
@joni_askola Even the Nazis were not that stupid. They ended up being just as genocidal but they hid it until they got the invaded countries to surrender.
The most catastrophic error the Kremlin made was escalating its aggression into a genocidal war, a move that is both a moral abomination and a fatal strategic mistake.
This choice stripped Ukrainians of any alternative but total, unyielding resistance, ensuring that Russia is now trapped in a war it cannot win.
For Russia, this campaign is a war of choice, but for Ukraine, it is an inescapable reality. The genocidal rhetoric and behavior combined with the sheer violence unleashed against civilians eliminated any possibility of a negotiated ”compromise.”
People will occasionally capitulate to a standard political occupation, but no one willingly submits to their own destruction. The Kremlin's cruelty completely backfired by cementing a permanent, deep-seated hatred toward the occupiers.
This pathetic behavior also completely destroyed Moscow's diplomatic standing. The pretense of defending against Western encirclement was revealed as a transparent lie, completely alienating anyone on the global stage with a basic sense of morality or a brain.
By forcing an entire nation into a corner, Russia guaranteed its own long-term failure. The resulting defeat is not just inevitable, but a fully deserved consequence of their own actions.
Russia needs to be and will be defeated
To George and Laura, Bill and Hillary — we're grateful for your friendship, counsel, and devotion to this country. And to Joe and Jill, thank you for being on this journey with us.
While I was briefly back in the US, I was disheartened by how many would say "oh is that still going on?" when referring to the war in Ukraine.
It was incredibly frustrating for me especially as an active duty medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At that point its just willful ignorance. Everyone has a cellphone, laptop, tablet, etc. Information is literally at your finger tips. But instead of informing oneself properly, the choice seems to be watching AI slop, mainstream media, and other short attention span apps.
The was is not over, it has not slowed down, we are still working and fighting for freedom in Ukraine, the frontline is still 1000 km long, civilians are still being killed by r*ssia every day. We can only go so far to inform you. The rest is up to you. Up to date sources, @KyivIndependent@KyivPost@saintjavelin@U24_gov_ua
Stay informed and inform others.
Candidate Trump: "I will end inflation on Day One."
President Trump today: "I love the inflation."
You know who doesn't love inflation, Mr. President? Working families struggling to afford gas, groceries and other necessities because of your disastrous actions.
We continue to apply Ukrainian long-range sanctions against Russian military facilities and the oil industry. In particular, last night Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingos struck a military plant in Cheboksary that supplies the occupier’s army with components for drones and missiles. I thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their precision! The Kuibyshev oil refinery in the Samara region was also hit last night. The distance from the frontline is more than 900 kilometers. I am grateful to the warriors of the Special Operations Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. The entirely just responses of the Security Service of Ukraine also reached two oil infrastructure facilities in the Vladimir region, at a distance of 700 kilometers. I thank everyone who fights and works for Ukraine!
