At the @Senate_KE Senate Standing Committee on Trade, Industrialization, and Tourism sittings in Kilifi County, I had an opportunity to share our vision to expand the coastal economy beyond traditional beach holidays.

​By diversifying into marine and adventure tourism like the Mambrui Sand Dunes and Malindi Marine Reserve, the @Min_TourismKE is keen on building integrated circuits that drive longer visitor stays and higher local spending. This deeply involves environmental protection and community empowerment.

​Under this inclusive model, local residents ; particularly the youth, women, boat operators and artisans stand to benefit as active co-creators and primary beneficiaries.

As part of our CSR, the Community members will gain directly through job creation, expanded enterprise along the tourism value chain, and shared stewardship of their local marine resources.
