A father is all about protection and safety. And today, this has taken on an even deeper meaning, because Ukrainian fathers are protecting not only their children, but also the very possibility of a safe future.
Being a dad in Ukraine today takes a special kind of courage. And a special kind of love. We thank all Ukrainian dads for their care and strength. All those who defend Ukraine and who do everything possible every day for their families and children. Those who teach, inspire, and support.
May every Ukrainian family have what we are fighting for: a peaceful and safe future.
Happy Father’s Day!
Meet alcoholic MAGAt Sheriff Randy Smith who is a staunch Republican and a Donald Trump supporter and aligns himself with conservative, pro-Trump political values. After consuming 18 beers he assaulted a local resident. As a result of the assualt, Sheriff Smith faces Felony Battery charges but has refused to resign from office. He still carries his badge and gun.
Investigators allege that an intoxicated Sheriff Smith approached local resident and podcaster Bobby Couvillion from behind, placed him in a chokehold, and threw him to the floor. Bystanders intervened to pull Smith away. Couvillion suffered a concussion and displaced teeth, requiring hospitalization.
He operates within a deeply conservative region and maintains strong ties to mainstream Republican platforms. Smith is a registered Republican who won his third term in 2023 with more than 60% of the vote in highly conservative St. Tammany Parish.
Just for those who are saying there was chemical sabotage to peel the paint in the reflective pool, you’re right.
It’s just, you guys did it to kill the algae.
Trump is the greatest enemy of the US:
1. His unjustified claim to Greenland has effectively ended NATO.
2. His support of Putin has ended all claims to the US supporting democracy.
3. His end of all US international aid has ended US soft power.
4. His war on iran has presented the US as a global village fool.
5. His persistent insults of all friendly global leaders alienates all.
6. No US president has appointed more incompetent people.
7. Finally, a man who always lies can't have any credibility.
Ukraine just stripped the Kerch Bridge of its air defence.
In a joint operation on June 21, Ukraine’s Security Service and Special Operations Forces struck two Pantsir air defence systems deployed directly on the Crimean Bridge — and simultaneously disabled four S-400 radar stations.
Six air defence assets. One operation. The bridge that Russia built as a symbol of its grip on Crimea is now unprotected.
Every air defence system destroyed around the Kerch Bridge expands the operational window for what comes next. Every radar station disabled removes another layer of early warning for Russian forces defending the peninsula.
The broader picture of Crimea’s air defence in June 2026:
→ Pantsir systems struck in Zaporizhzhia region — June 19
→ Two Pantsirs on the Kerch Bridge — destroyed today
→ Four S-400 radars — disabled today → All major land crossings closed or under fire control
→ Fuel rationing across the peninsula → Oil and gas infrastructure burning
Russia built the Kerch Bridge to make
Crimea feel permanent.
Ukraine is systematically dismantling everything that makes it defensible.

The Lessons I Learned from My Dad
I am not the man my father is.
I am trying. Some days closer. Some days farther.
He never sat me down and explained these lessons. He lived them. I’m still learning them.
Show up.
The kitchen table. The hospital room. The funeral. The picket line. The call from the son who won’t answer.
Show up.
Most days that’s the whole job.
My whole life I watched him do it. Not for cameras. Not for headlines. Not because there was something in it for him. He showed up because someone needed him.
I learned that grief doesn’t make you special.
My father buried a wife and daughter. He buried a son. Yet he never treated grief as a claim on other people’s sympathy. Instead, it made him notice theirs.
A mother who lost a child. A father sitting beside a hospital bed. A kid scared about what comes next. A son who lost his mother, his sister, his brother.
He always noticed.
I learned that power is not the point.
The people who chase power eventually confuse the office with themselves.
My father never did.
Whether he was a county councilman, a senator, vice president, or president, he was the same man.
The title changed.
He didn’t.
I learned that family comes first.
The train from Wilmington wasn’t symbolism.
It was every night.
He read to us. Showed up to games. Sat through hospital rooms. Waited up for children who were lost.
And when the day came that the country and the family could not both have him at full strength, he chose family. He relinquished the last chapter of how he wanted to be remembered. And he never complained about it.
Most of all, I learned that love is not soft.
Love is discipline.
Love is showing up at one in the morning when nobody is watching.
Love is answering the phone.
Love is staying.
Love is getting back up after life knocks you down and doing it all again tomorrow.
That love saved my life.
I’ve failed at many of these lessons, sometimes in very public ways.
He loved me anyway.
That’s the last lesson.
I am not trying to become my father.
I am trying to carry what he gave me.
And if I can do that, even imperfectly, that will be enough.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad. I love you.
¡Liberen a Veruzka! ¡Liberen a los presos políticos!

Trump told the country his ballroom was “taxpayer-free.” His own contractor’s records say you’ve been paying for it the whole time.
The price has nearly tripled since last summer, from $200 million to $600 million, and more than $300 million of that is coming from your tax dollars.
Welcome to Episode 18 of the Corruption Chronicles.
US troops would die during any ground invasion of Iran. It would also be brazenly illegal without Congressional authorization.
And if US troops took over the Straight, Iran would try to kill them every day in a forever war.
Iran knows these are empty threats by trump.
"If Lukashenko doesn't remove the radio relay stations, we will. That will happen within a week," said Zelenskyy.
"He can keep his 'sorry' to himself. That hasn't worked since the first day of the war. I explained to him: step one—no technical support for Russian radio relay stations," Zelenskyy said regarding Lukashenko's remarks.
The President emphasized that Minsk must prove through concrete actions that it is not supporting Russia in the war against Ukraine.
An overnight russian attack on the Nikopol district in Dnipro Region killed a 70-year-old woman and damaged several apartment buildings, private houses, cars‼️
Russia keeps killing Ukrainians every single day with no other purpose than pure terrorism!

A federal judge has ordered the restoration of historical materials that were removed from national parks and historical sites across this country. These are not just signs and exhibits. These are the stories of enslaved people, civil rights leaders, indigenous communities, women who fought for suffrage, and immigrants who helped build this nation. Even with this ruling, the effort to erase our history continues. We will not look away and we will not back down.
