My step-dad and I are training for another half marathon, and today we ran trails at a park near their house. At mile 2.5 I had a nose bleed. At mile 5 we got separated. I was only planning to run 6. Ended up running 8 before finding my way back, because I got lost...in the dark.
Officially moved in with the rents while we wait for our new house to be finished. Tonight, I’m already freshly showered in my plush pjs, completed my self care Sunday rituals, and had an ice cream sandwich hand delivered with a fat glass of wine all by 8:30. I like it here.
I am generally super high strung, and this week we are moving/closing on our house while continuing to work. So, basically I’m one wrong move away from having a coronary. I’m just going to ask that everyone throw out some Ts&Ps for your guy, @TMurph59.
My coworkers have realized that I very consistently work though lunch, and now they constantly try to feed me. I am now overtly aware of my willingness to overwork, but also that I don’t deserve these sweet nugs.
The DMV in Nashville makes you wait outside to be served because of COVID. So far, I have waited about an hour and half. I am sunburnt and am thanking the lord my deodorant is decent, but I am leaving here a frickin’ Murphy.
The only good thing about deciding to postpone our wedding twice is that we can now go on our annual vacation with a whole new set of traumas that only the beach, friendship, and day drinking can fix.
I’ve been stuffing our new save the date envelopes for 2.5 hours. If there is one more change with this wedding, you people are getting an e-vite. #covidbride#norules
