NAACP statement on Supreme Court ruling on mail-in voting:
"Good news rarely comes out of this Supreme Court, but today's ruling is a win for our democracy. Your vote still matters, otherwise, those in power like Donald Trump wouldn't be trying so hard to silence you"
In new court filing, plaintiffs accuse Team Trump of "petty defiance" and "inexcliable" conduct in its handling of the removal of Trump's name from Kennedy Center
They argue the tarp and scaffolding are a "transparent effort" to frustrate a return of the rightful name
Trump told Leslie Stahl something years ago that everyone should hear.
She asked Trump he kept calling the media fake news.
He said, I do it because I need to discredit you, so that when you say negative things about me, nobody believes you.
That is EXACTLY what he’s done.
The problem everyone has with him is that most of us grew up with values, ethics, and integrity.
That is not Donald Trump.
He figured out a long time ago that he can bully his way through any rule and if he keeps pushing harder and harder, people will relent.
For most of his life they did, but we must stand up against it.
The plan is for this plane to be in service for two years and then Trump will take if for himself. No President has ever stolen an Air Force for himself.
And you paid for it. The total cost could be $1 billion of your money for a new luxury jet for Trump and his family.
You paid for a plane with "a level of luxury that nobody has never seen before". And he's apparently taking it with him once he leaves the White House.
The plane. The ballroom. The corruption. This guy thinks taxpayers are dopes. Your money is just his to live a life of luxury.
Now that I think about it, DON'T remove him via 25th Amendment.
Leave him in office, flailing desperately like this through the midterms, let Republicans suffer the WORST electoral defeat in history.
Because like it or not, they own this deranged disaster.
Found an imaginary problem, said only they could fix it, didn’t listen to experts, hired buddies who grifted millions, failed miserably, bragged how great it went.
The entire Trump presidency in a nutshell.
Do you agree with Trump being left out?
For the first time in US history the sitting President was not invited to attend the opening of a predecessor's library. Clinton, Bush and Biden all showed up at the Obama library... no Trump.
Your Thoughts?
Dear Former President Barack Obama and Former First Lady Michelle Obama,
I’ve watched you and your children attacked with a ferocity and cruelty that defy any sense of decency and that certainly have no precedent.
I’ve watched your birthplace called into question, your personal faith ridiculed, your patriotism mocked, your gender contested, and your very humanity discounted.
I’ve watched you endure the incessant, bitter venom of those for whom the color of your skin was always going to be a problem.
And through all of it, I’ve watched you be the better humans, always going high despite their sickening depths.
In the face of a sustained, spitting, violent, raw-throated hatred, you’ve never responded in kind.
You never allowed yourselves to be defined by the bigotry of your critics, and you never dehumanized them or let them win by becoming them.
I'm going to KEEP talking about how Florida Senator Rick Scott, the RICHEST man in all of Congress DEFRAUDED Medicare & is trying to CUT Social Security.
Will you join me?🤚
NEWS: I’m calling on the FAA to reject any pressure to rubberstamp Trump’s “Triumphal Arch.”
The safety of the flying public should not be jeopardized for a vanity project designed to stroke the President’s ego.
CNN: What you think about the president formally signing the Iran deal at Versailles last night?
Moulton: It's an appropriate place to sign a surrender document. And it's too bad that the president is completely oblivious to history to understand the parallels there
