Barring a miracle that's a pretty frustrating end to an 8 game win streak
Pretty sloppy baseball from the start
But got a series win against a Mets team who came in winners of 4 straight
Now to Detroit to face a tigers team who knocked rays pitching around & swept em
Jhonny Pereda statcast page is INSANE
.340 xBA so he's actually been unlucky w/ results
Not chasing/whiffing/striking out so tons of balls in play & they're constantly put in play well hit
3 mariners in the top 10
#3 Emerson
#7 Sloan
#9 Anderson
Emerson obviously already helping the big league team. Anderson ready too if needed & Sloan likely an option in a few months
Incredible

@SeattleFanGZ The right call is likely Pereda down so we keep the depth, especially since backup catcher doesn't play much - then in September will carry 3 catchers
This is fun
Doing this without cal & Donovan too...
I love Pereda - best 'third catcher' in baseball right? Hard to send him down when cal returns but almost have to for depth?
@TheeNelDog Thx man, all good!
Got a new phone few months ago & it didn't keep me logged in & life has been busy so took me a bit to have the energy to recover password, etc but life is good & fun to be back w/ mariners community!
Mariners finish may 15-13 & here is a look at the lineup
For any healthy regular, Cole young was the only w/ a rough month
Raley/julio/emerson/randy all mashed
Dom/jp/Garver all really good
Naylor/Pereda held their own
Raley w/ just a 24% K% led to massive month for him
Hard to overstate how huge it would be if refsnyder turns it around
One of best bats vs lefties in mlb the last 4 years when he's been one of the worst this year
Would help solve what has been a major issue this year
Great having Victor Robles healthy again. Not an impact player but his absence was overlooked IMO
For an offense struggling vs LH his career .350 OBP against LH can really help
Then factor in his defense, speed & energy -- very useful piece for this roster
Mitch Garver has been a nice contributor so far in 26'
wRC+ vs LH: 138 driven by a .421 OBP
Be huge if he can continue to hit lefties & find more slug, but so far he's been an asset to the team
