During #MassivEV#ISEV workshop Quality-by-Design was introduced. Even though more useful at late phases, development of #EV therapeutics may also benefit.
This is our take on the #upstream phase using human induced pluripotent stem cells.

#massiveEV#isev workshop was so informative and challenging at the same time. Really massive thank you to the EV unit for the massive work that lead our research to this point!
Very excited to share my very first review article as a co-corresponding author! This is a comprehensive review on using #ExtracellularVesicles as therapeutic vehicles & we share our vision for further development in the EV field

I got this 🥠 message a few years back, when I just started my postdoc @MayoClinicGIHep. I was hopeless and depressed. This gave me hope. And it made me understand that success has no taste without failure. Failure + perseverance = progress = success. @jenheemstra

Just back home after participating to two in-person conferences in a row on #extracellularvesicles@EVItaSociety and #celltherapy#stemnet
Mind- and soul-blowing realizing how much I missed this aspect of science. A boost of passion and motivation!
Second day of EVIta symposium started with an insightful presentation on MSC EVs by @BGiebel followed by great talks of EVItians! It is impressive how high impact research has advanced in these last 2 years!🤩
Curious about tetraspanin expression in small and medium/large mesenchymal stromal cell-derived extracellular vesicles in naive or apoptotic condition? have a look! https://t.co/tGty0IxBK2 #bioRxiv
This new trend by some (many?) scientific journals to reject a paper that's undergone #peerreview, without sharing reviewers' comments while proposing a transfer to the IF-less unindexed sister journal... IT'S THE WORST! Not playing this game...
Are you ready for an in-person meeting? ISEV is! massivEVs is a Workshop all about producing large amounts of #ExtracellularVesicles. 28-29 Oct in Brescia, Italy. Apply by 11:59 PM EDT on June 1st if interested: https://t.co/YcSrcrpK3X
Attending #ISEV2021 one month before the kick-off of our #NANO4STROKE@euronanomed funded project was the perfect motivational boost and the perfect timing. Looking forward to starting the development of large-scale processes for EV production! #extracellularvesicle#nanomedicine
Going through #ISCT#ISEV2021 joint session on Rigor and Regulation of EV therapeutics, I would have appreciated also EMA contribution. Still, the core principles don't change, and I feel lucky to be already familiar with them thanks to my GMP colleagues!
