So in a time when consoles:

❌Have no physical media/ownership
❌Overpriced at nearly $1000
❌Little to backwards compatibility
❌Subscription-only access to some games
❌Region locked
❌Format/system exclusive
❌First party exclusives take 5-7 years to be made only to end up being mediocre and uninspired

What’s the point of a console anymore? It’s technically worthless. It’s like a horseshoe theory where consoles went from being a solution to a problem to being the very problem it sought to solve.
