I am grateful for the presence of the Mercedarian Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church & School in Baton Rouge. These religious sisters pray w/ our staff and students & play sports w/ our students. They are a gift to Jesus & a gift to me.
Cultural intelligence demands that we pay attention to crises like the war in Ukraine. But as others have been noting, we also need to be conscious of the many other wars going on in the world including Darfur, Somalia, Yemen, Myanmar, Syria, and the list keeps going.
The Magi return “by another way” (Mt 2:12). They challenge us to take new paths. This is the creativity of the Holy Spirit who always does new things. #Epiphany
The number one conflict on most teams is clashing expectations. And the more diversity on the team, the more likely you are to have different expectations. Can you think of a time when your team's expectations did not align? How did you manage those expectations?
