It’s crazy how normal it’s become to drop your kids off at daycare five days a week for eight straight hours, just so you can head to a job that mostly covers the daycare bill, the car you need to get there, and the house you barely spend any time in. We’re trapped in this endless loop of working just to afford a life we hardly ever get to actually live.
This age hits hard.
Career pressure, daily responsibilities, big dreams, marriage talks, and aging parents, all at once. Just trying to survive and find meaning.
My wife and I have committed to a no-screen childhood for my daughter so far and it has been the best parenting decision that I’ve made
Car rides, restaurants, church, wherever, no phones. We bring books. Coloring supplies. We rely on our own conversation or singing to engage her.
At times, it takes a lot of work and effort. We as parents have to engage her way more. We also have to deal with melt downs. Can’t just use the phone as a pacifier
But gosh is it worth it.
She doesn’t need a screen when she’s melting down but can already tell us that she’s sad, angry, jealous, whatever
When bored, she grabs books or coloring supplies on her own. She can entertain herself for upwards of an hour just sitting on the ground flipping through Dr. Seuss
She doesn’t have the unhealthy, frenetic, anxious obsession with phones. The few times we might look at pictures with her, when we’re done, she just puts it down and moves on
My conclusion? It’s the phones. Everything. It’s them phones. Take them away and never look back.
Why is the US Govt subsidizing the most pesticide sprayed crops using tax payers dollars? These are the very foods driving the chronic disease epidemic
🔥 ALEX CLARK: "Today, a child following the recommended vaccine schedule will receive up to 70 shots by the time they turn 18...Are all these shots producing healthier kids? According to the data, no. Are we allowed to even ask? Also no."

What the hell is the point of the FDA if everything they approve is a literal poison?
Birth control advocates are celebrating that history has been made with the new over the counter birth control Opill.
Yeah, history HAS been made. More women than ever before will be at an increased risk of hormonal cancer, heart attack/stroke, depression/anxiety, PCOS, acne, osteoporosis. More women than ever before will be duped into thinking it wouldn't be on store shelves if it wasn't safe to take. More young women/teens than ever before will "gain reproductive freedom" but lose their physical health.
"Long-term menstrual suppression via birth control is the largest uncontrolled medical experiment on women in history." -Elizabeth Kissling, PhD
Sorry Gwyneth but we’re not taking wellness tips + advice from someone who drinks coffee for breakfast and bone broth for lunch 😩🫠
Women function best when we’re well fed. This is not it. Eating enough calories daily from high quality foods is foundational to your fertility.
