@Winston_Duke The way grief was portrayed throughout this movie was so beautifully done. It was authentic and raw and real. There are so many different ways to grieve and move through grief, and many of them were on display without judgement throughout the film
Asian American identity is being hijacked by a white supremacist agenda to end affirmative action. The majority supports Affirmative action and it’s the elite minority of AAPI who are against it. The decision seems all but inevitable but AAPI still have to speak out against it!
No immigrant has taken your job. You were laid off by a capitalist who required cheap labor and took advantage of that immigrant to increase his profits, and nothing makes him happier than to hear you blame the immigrant and not him.
If this wasn't about power and control, America would be a nation that protects, supports, and invests in children. They would be leaders in every indicator of health, especially maternal health, instead of being the metric used to measure many policy failures.
I had a dream in which @channingtatum (a former spy) gained custody of his niece, they met a mermaid, he was convinced she worked for a rival organization but really she was a sweetheart, they fell in love and became a family and I'm still convinced this movie is real #movies
I saw @shangchi tonight, and I have so many thoughts! The main one is just how happy I am for little #API children who get to grow up with a superhero who looks like them. Seeing our culture celebrated and normalized at the same time took my breath away
