New York City was literally founded by the Dutch, built by Irish and Italian laborers, powered by Jewish, Puerto Rican, and Dominican communities, and runs on immigrant hustle. The Statue of Liberty was donated by France to honor immigrants. It’s literally the city’s logo.

Lady Gaga talks about the importance of supporting the trans community:
“what trans people are being faced with in this world is completely unfair, wrong and there's this like violence that's taking place on a daily basis in their lives and I think that we all need to support trans people and each other to know that they deserve to be supported and loved and protected and lifted up.”
“We are never going to stop existing. I’m never going to stop being trans. A letter on a passport can’t change that, fuck this administration.”
— Hunter Schafer on uniting with trans people against Trump’s administration.
I hate to break to Trump but Two-Spirit (trans) people have existed here in North America for thousands of years. They predate the arrival of white people and their “Christianity.” Trans people will be here long after Trump is dead and gone.
