We were thrilled to be part of the Wildlife Wonders event at Lepe Country Park - Hampshire County Council last week and to welcome so many of you aboard the Discovery Bus.
Many families had the opportunity to try our interactive media and puzzles 🏺, learn about the methods archaeologists use 🔬, and even handle real artefacts. Thanks to everyone who came to say hello and thank you to Lepe Country Park for having us!
In this photo, courtesy of Mary Montagu-Scott of the Shipyard Trust, our Director Garry and Rodrigo Ortiz Vazquez can be seen coring the clay deposits underlying slipway two.🪵
The Discovery Bus will be in the Harbour car park, Tenby from 9am to 5pm on August 20th, 2025 to promote work recently undertaken by Maritime Archaeology in the Celtic Sea region for The Crown Estate!
