@WarwickshireRed @mbonell84 @salopcast he is entitled to break the hold but as soon as you move to strike an opponent in the face with your arms it becomes violent conduct.

If someone deliberately strikes another person on the head or face with a hand or arm off the ball, it’s also considered violent conduct

@WarwickshireRed @mbonell84 @salopcast Clearly you do, I’ve looked and not once do you mention Ripley’s actions being in the wrong! He is breaking off a hold but strikes in the face which as you have said is violent conduct! I think Boyle is very lucky to not see red also.
