It’s been a mad 15 years. It’s had everything thrown in there, from the highest highs to the lowest lows (on and off the field 😜).
My time was up, and no one was going to be able to make that decision other than me.
But in the meantime, I just want to say I ❤️ every single England fan and every single cricket fan who’s supported me over the years.
I ❤️ every single person I’ve walked out onto the field with representing England.
I could go on and on, but I hope you get the gist of how much I loved doing what I did for 15 years.
I’m looking forward to being a fan and supporting the team, and the odd day in hospitality won’t go amiss 🤣.
Family, friends, teammates, fans… I ❤️ yas all.

@ChrisJo93299298@robertmdaws May have been a year before that when Matthews was in the side when we demolished the Scots 7-2 and was class. Think that game was also Duncan Edwards debut or one of his first games.
Ben Stokes becomes only the second player in Test history - after the great Jacques Kallis - to reach 7,000 runs and 250 wickets 👏
One of the greatest all-rounders the game has ever seen 🏴❤️

“Chipped in. And volleyed in. IT’S THERE BY DAVID PLATT! ENGLAND HAVE DONE IT… IN THE LAST MINUTE OF EXTRA TIME!”
An iconic @90sfootball moment.
#OnThisDay in 1916, one of England’s greatest batters, Len Hutton, was born on this day in Pudsey.
Best remembered for his record 364 against Australia at The Oval in 1938, Hutton was a technically brilliant opener who captained England to Ashes glory in 1953.
Knighted in 1956, he remains one of the game’s all-time greats.
