I was so honored to attend the unveiling of Cornelius Mimms’ permanent exhibit at the Chesterfield County Museum. Mimms was the first Black Board of Supervisor, serving from 1881-1883, and again from 1887-1889 in the Midlothian District.

Over the past year as your Supervisor, I’ve turned down far more proposals for development than I’ve approved. Jim Williams may claim that he wants to manage growth in Midlothian, but over 60% of his donations come from developers.

Midlothian Day was once again a huge success! Thank you to all who helped pull the float together- it turned out amazing!
It was truly an incredible day to celebrate Midlothian. I spent the day connecting with folks in our community and listening to their insights.

A forum is an opportunity to exchange ideas - ideas about how to best educate our children. I see education as a three legged stool: the parents, the teachers, and the students. All support quality education so that students have the opportunity to grow and blossom.
