@psu_chris Be it in oil or other fluids immersion has enough drawbacks including creep and floor space/loading that it isn’t the “easy win” many suggest. I say this having done it a few times, lovely theory, certainly some use cases but unlikely to be mainstream DC in the near future.
@owainkenway Passive cooling is good and should be mandated, but adding active cooling to these or as you say the heat pump running backwards debacle needs to be easier/fixed.

It might be a valid use case, but it’s probably more limited where one mega namespace is optimal.
@FelixCLC_ Please simulate an appropriate distribution of plinth sizes, flexibility and heights to confirm an appropriate distribution is obtained at moment of rapid deceleration. This will be required before investment in comedy plinth is authorised.
